Sandra Alford - Nail Technician

Position: Nail Technician, OWF Receptionist, OWF Childcare Aid (Currently on Maternity Leave)

About Sandra:
You will see me in many different areas of the club. I might be the first person you see in your day as I open the club almost every morning at 5:30am. Or I will be in child minding playing and looking after your kids, or I might just be the one you come see when you need time for yourself. I am a certified nail tech since 2000, and I am also currently taking my ALFCA to be a fitness instructor and trainer. I have only been in the fitness industry 6 years but love it. In my free time I love to do crafts and card making, read and just being outside. We do a lot of camping. My husband Paul and I are expecting our first child in January 2009. OWF is a great place to make great friends and become close to a lot of different people. They are like a second family and I know that my baby will have a lot of extra aunties that will be ready to help at any time.

Sandra's take on esthetics...
I love the creative aspect of doing nails; it is like starting with a blank canvas and seeing what you can create. I also love the one on one interaction with the members and getting to know them and different aspects of there lives.

Sandra's Advice...
Life is too short to not make time for yourself, even the small things count.

Sandra's Style...
I am always there with a helping hand and ready to jump in at any time needed. Always like to stay busy and challenged on the job, work should be fun and a place you like to go to everyday.

The Last Word...
Always remember as hard as it is that you are the most important person in your life. All the other people and things are just there to make your life better, but you are where it all needs to begin.
